The largest table I’ve made to date, this one is 10.5 × 4 ft at 1.5 inches thick. The top is flatsawn white oak. The base is a classic trestle construction with a central beam connected to two trestles with 2 7 inch bed bolts for each trestle. It is a very robust construction method, and handy, as the base can be broken down to make moving it easier.
